For the first time, a Stonehill Suites Halloween Party for kids at this new Bacolod hotel was held. It was orderly, organized, and full of fun! Lots of prizes, too! Everyone went home with prizes.
The Stonehill Suites Halloween Party
Our family is not really into Halloween. Sure, the kids join activities like Halloween doughnut decorating and sandwich making, but we are not much into Halloween parties.

This year, our whole family was invited to the Stonehill Suites Halloween Party here in Bacolod City.
To commemorate the event, there was a photo booth setup were everyone can have their photos taken. It is part of the party fee.
Fun Halloween Activities for Kids
At the Stonehill Suites Halloween Party, they had Halloween games and a whole lot of nice prizes. Even those who did not win got consolation prizes. It was a fun kiddie party.
After the games the kids went on a trick or treat activity. They went around the third floor, went down the stairs and around the lobby of the hotel. It was the hotel staff that gave out the candies. 🙂
They went back to the function room and had a mini fashion show to exhibit their Halloween costumes for kids.
Afterwards, the Best in Costume winners for Boys, Girls, and Babies were awarded. Even the early birds got some additional prizes. The kids were very happy because there were so many toys given away.
Of course, kids are so ecstatic where toys are concerned. Nobody went home empty-handed so everybody was happy.
Then snacks were served from the eat all you can merienda cena buffet.
While everybody was partaking of the simple but very ample snack buffet, Hotel Transylvania was shown for entertainment. Food was overflowing!
Party Food
The buffet table was set up outside the function room. There were pizza bread, corn dogs, chicken nuggets, chicken lollipops, and spaghetti bolognese.
For dessert, there were cupcakes in three flavors — red velvet, ube, and pandan.
Additionally, there were four food carts — French Fries, popcorn, soft ice cream, and cotton candy. A candy bar was also set up in front with cake Hallowee pops, wafers, chocolates, and gummy candies! This service was provided for by Tis n Rae Party Pieces.

Even before the party started, the guests were already free to get treats from any of the food carts.
Cosplay for Kids
Shane is already big enough to take over some of Achi Shawna’s gowns. So she wore, her sister’s Belle gown and came as a princess. No lipstick, she said. Eventually, we settled on eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil, and blusher.
Meanwhile, Shawna no longer had a costume at home that could fit her. A day before the event, we went to the Toys R Us branch at Ayala Malls Capitol Central. Thankfully, their Halloween costumes were already on sale and one fit Shawna perfectly.
That was the Queen of Hearts costume. We embellished it with her golden poofy tutu skirt from her last ballet recital and she put on a red wig. For makeup, it was a simple pressed powder, powerful eyebrows, and blush combination. It was the lipstick that made the look.
I smothered her lips with skin-tone colored foundation and drew a heart using Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip. Shawna was on character with the “Off with their heads part” and so she got the prize! Best in Costume in the bag.
Cosplay Makeup
While our girls like wearing costumes for kids, we don’t really go all out with the makeup. This is the first time that we did and we all kind of find it exciting. Will we do it again next year? Maybe.

So basically, we attend Halloween parties so the kids can cosplay. It’s all clean fun and we don’t like scary get ups. It’s simply being able to wear costumes while there’s an occasion.
Also, it’s a time to meet new friends. Socialization is an important part of homeschooling. So we let them go out and meet new people.

Oh how neat and fun for a hotel to host a Halloween party for the kids! The preparations of Stonehill Suites look really nice. I love it!
This looked like such a fun Halloween party for kids. My kids are much older now, but I cannot wait for my grandchild to get old enough for stuff like this. I think I’m more excited than his parents are to dress him up in a costume and bring him to Halloween parties! haha
This is such a cute idea! My sister in law owns a party company over in Singapore and they’re always having events for Halloween, birthday parties etc. She loves working with kids! But this is a pretty good idea for a seasonal busines.
What an amazing looking Halloween party! And Stonehill Suites is such a beautiful hotel! You and your children will remember this their entire lives. Shawna on the chess board looking tiles is like a scene from Alice in Wonderland!
I don’t have kids right now but for the future is might be a cool idea. My inner kid would love dressing up my kids for Halloween. Who knows, we might even have matching costumes. hahaha – Paolo

What an amazing way to spend Halloween! It looks like the kids had so much fun! Stonehill Suites really went all out, especially with the game prizes. Lovely costumes for kids, especially your daughter’s Queen of Hearts character. Her photo on the chessboard tiles look eerie. Love it!
How cute are these kids in their Halloween costumes! I’m glad they were able to enjoy their Halloween. The party at Stonehill Suites looks awesome and so much fun!
So fun! Our daughter is only 7-months-old, so we didn’t really get into Halloween this year, but I can’t wait to do this kind of stuff with her as she gets older! I bet she would also enjoy wearing different Halloween costumes! 🙂
I love halloween parties and those costumes just look adorable! Your kids had so much fun. Kudos to Stonehill Suites for holding such an awesome party. 🙂
Halloween parties are so much fun! It’s one time of the year that we can indulge in our creativity with the costumes. I’m sure your kids enjoyed it. Do you do family costumes as well?
Last year, Papa joined in the Halloween fun at L’Fisher Hotel and wore a Clark Kent costume. hahaha It was simple, he just wore a shirt buttoned up long sleeves with a Superman shirt underneath. He also had glasses and the signature hair strand on Superman’s forehead. hahaha I was the photographer. Pfft. hahaha
That was fun! Such a great and enjoyable event. Those Halloween costumes are so cute! So creative!
