Seda Capitol Central Christmas Tree Lighting and 1st Anniversary

The Seda Capitol Central Christmas tree lighting ceremony and first anniversary was successfully held in a grand event last November 16, 2018 here in Bacolod City.

Seda Capitol Central Celebrates First Anniversary

The Seda Capitol Central is the newest Bacolod hotel and it has already been a year since they opened their doors to the people of Bacolod.

With the theme, “We Are Negros”, Seda Capitol Central celebrated their first anniversary by paying tribute to the Negrense legacy. They have decorated the ballroom with arrangements and scenes that make as reminisce the grandeur of Negros past.

At the center is a fountain that is a miniaturized version of the fountain at The Ruins. That facade of a mansion pictured above looks like one of the heritage houses in Silay City. Their anniversary banquet also featured dishes that were especially designed by Executive Sous Chef Ynan del Rosario using local ingredients.

Hotel Manager Rhett Villaruz said they incorporated the province in the theme of their first anniversary. This is their way of thanking Negros Occidental for welcoming Seda Capitol Central with open arms. As for entertainment, guests were delighted to the exciting festival dances rendered by the MassKara dancers of Bacolod and the Bayles de Luces ensemble of La Castellana.

Seda Capitol Central invited their clients and thanked them profusely. They gave out a number of gift certificates to other Seda hotels around the country as raffle prizes. It’s just one of their ways of appreciating the companies that have trusted their brand.

Christmas is For Children

Meanwhile, the Seda Capitol Central Christmas tree lighting ceremony was also held that same night. But it is no ordinary tree lighting. This is their first year to hold this event and it is also their way of giving back. And they chose to benefit the children.

Seda Capitol Central has picked Smile Train as the beneficiary for this year’s CSR effort. Smile Train is an international organization that provides corrective surgery and hospitalization to children born with cleft lips and palates.

Join in and Help

Moreover, hotel guests can also help the Smile Train by buying Christmas ornaments. There are three designs and each one is priced differently. The ornaments are available in P100, P200, and P300 denominations. Clients may purchases the ornaments until December 24 at the lobby.

Meanwhile, our little girls wearing their Christmas costumes attended the event with us. They were able to enjoy the Seda Capitol Central Christmas tree lighting ceremony and the meaningful performance of the USLS Chorale. In addition, they also got to take part in sharing their blessings to Smile Train.
