Family Outing at May’s Organic Garden in Bacolod
It’s just so nice to go out as a family, going to a Bacolod resort and just go swimming with the kids. It can be tough lugging them around with all the stuff that they need, but it’s still so much fun. That’s just the fun of having kids. And we surely had fun at May’s Organic Garden, a Bacolod resort.
End of School Year
Kinder School at Bright Kids Preschool and Ballet School for School year 2013-2014 have both ended for Dindin. She graduated last March 16 from Bright Kids while she finished her last ballet session last March 20. This was a heavy year for us–Dindin went to Kinder school, went to ballet school with her dad, and I gave birth to our little Siobe.
And so today, we scheduled an outing at May’s Organic Garden and Restaurant, located in Pahanocoy, Bacolod City. We really did not know what to expect about the place because this was our first time here. We thought that it was mainly a showcase of organic produce with a homegrown Bacolod restaurant.
Big Developments at May’s Organic Garden
But when we got there, we were very surprised at the developments in at May’s Organic Garden. It is a really nice Bacolod eco-park and resort with a swimming pool, play area, fishing area, and boating area. They also have a swan ride and horse back riding. They feature amenities for small and big gatherings like weddings and birthday parties! I am already thinking of having Siobe’s first birthday party there! hihi
We got to the May’s Organic Garden around 9am. Papa and the kids started bathing in the pool while Mama took pictures. Around 11am, we were given a tour around the place so that they can show off what the technologies they are using as well as the work already done there. We are stoked with this educational tour because we are preparing for homeschooling in Bacolod!

We then had a wonderful lunch of dishes made mostly from the ingredients grown in the farm. It was lovely! Then Dindin and Papa were off to more swimming fun while Siobe, who is still a baby, took a nap in my arms.
Before we left, we had some snacks that we brought with us, while enjoying the scenery and the bonding moments together.
Exclusive Time
We had a really lovely day today, just simply a time of rest from our everyday routine. We enjoyed the fresh air and the verdant surroundings at May’s Organic Garden. But what made it more relaxing was that, we were the only ones there! haha It was just timely that there weren’t any bookings today so we had the swimming pool to ourselves. And it was very quiet, except for the rustling of the leaves, the chirping of the birds, and the giggles of Dindin. hihi
Thank You, Lord, for the rest today. 😀 This is going to be a wonderful summer outing for our family at May’s Organic Garden!
