Experiencing an Enchanting Christmas
Robinsons Place Bacolod brought An Enchanting Christmas musicale here in Bacolod City and it was simply magical. We sure are happy to have experienced it as a family.
An Enchanting Christmas Story
The show is a 30-minute musicale about the Ice Queen just wanting to take part in the Christmas party of Princess Snow White, Princess Cinderella, and Prince Charming. She got upset when she didn’t get an invite.
Eventually, she revealed that all she needed was respect. Like any great story, this one had a happy ending and the performances of the actors were splendid. Indeed, we experienced an enchanting Christmas story.
It’s cute that they incorporated contemporary lines into a classic tale, like checking messages on a tablet for an invite. And the lively Christmas carols that they sang at end were on point.
Bacolod City was treated to two showtimes, one at 2PM and another at 4Pm. We went to the second one and the actors were still on fire!
Interactive Story
The characters of An Enchanting Christmas didn’t just perform — they interacted with the audience. They made the kids stand up, answer questions, and even bust out some dance moves.
At first, most of the kids in the audience found it hard to understand the instructions because of the Australian accent, but eventually they got into it and everyone had a good time.
Wearing Costumes
When we went to Hong Kong Disneyland, our girls wore different Disney costumes during our two-day visit. I had to pack a big luggage because their dresses had to be matched with shoes and tiaras. But they love pretend play and wearing costumes to a show like this just brings the experience to a whole level of magic.
Shawna wore a pink princess dress with a little tiara while Shane was Cinderella. It was the same dress she wore for her fifth birthday.
Photo Op
After the show, all the kids in the audience had the chance to have a photo op with the show’s characters. It was during this time that our girls were also able to interact with the princesses, much like what they did with the royalty at HK Disneyland. These girls have a penchant for chatting with performers after any and every event.
Shawna was able to tell Snow White that she also dances ballet. Snow White then let her do a turn. 🙂 What a memorable moment it was for the kids.
Musicales at Robinsons Place Bacolod
We really appreciate these theatrical presentations that Robinsons malls bring to the Philippines. Thankfully, we have a Bacolod mall so we also get to watch them. Even if it’s just 30 minutes, it gives us a glimpse of what they have in places like Hong Kong Disneyland. These performances are golden because of the script, the talent and execution, as well as the costumes!
What a wonderful Christmas gift that Robinsons Place Bacolod has given to the city. It was truly a magical experience.
Awesome! Merry Christmas to you and your family po 🙂
It’s a magical event for the kids. That’s awesome!
